To activate INPUT 1 on the Opto INPUT interface, permamently shortcut pin 9 and 1. The external switch will be

connected across pins 15 and 6.

carbon resistor to the photodiode 1 (pins 6 and 1). Max current allowed:

10 mA. Nominal: 5 mA.
